Software engineering recruitment

Who we are

Staff Hunter is a Melbourne tech recruitment agency that specialises in engineering recruitment. We find senior software engineers for startups, scaleups and established businesses in Australia.

We don't wait for the right person to apply. We go and find them through direct headhunting, industry relationships and a network built over years.

Roles we fill

Backend, frontend, full stack and mobile engineers.

ML engineers, AI engineers and forward deployed engineers.

Senior and lead engineers, engineering managers and engineering leaders, including Heads of Engineering and CTOs.

Who we work with

Startups, scaleups and established businesses. That includes SaaS, AI, cyber security and product-led companies, and businesses in other industries.

How a search works

1. A 30-minute call. We learn the role, the team and what a strong hire looks like.

2. We agree the fee in writing before the search starts.

3. We headhunt directly, including people who are not applying for jobs.

4. You get a short list of people who fit the role and want to talk.

Why Staff Hunter

Our founder, Carl Di Nuzzo, has fourteen years in recruitment, on the agency side and in-house at tech companies. We know what an in-house team needs and how an agency delivers.
